Graduate diploma
Instruments (except organ) and voice

Admission requirements:
The Second Advanced Cycle is open to students who have obtained the Bachelor’s diploma from the École Normale de Musique de Paris without an entrance audition. The program lasts two years.
For new students who have not completed the First Advanced Cycle at ENMP, they must hold at least a First Advanced Cycle diploma (Licence, Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent) or provide proof of enrollment in a Second Advanced Cycle (Master’s degree or equivalent) at a French or international music institution in the chosen discipline.
Eligibility is based on an application file including:
- CV
- Copy of previously obtained diplomas
- Motivation letter (in French or English)
- A video recording including three excerpts from works of different periods and styles, with no edits or effects, hands and face visible
- A French language certificate at CEFR A2 level (to be provided no later than the end of the first year of studies)
Files must be submitted between February 15 and July 20, 2025, for enrollment in the 2025-2026 academic year (1st session: from 02/15/2025 to 05/31/2025).
After the application is accepted, the candidate may be asked to submit a video recording of a required piece, chosen from a list that will be sent to them. The candidate must submit their recording within two to three weeks after receiving the list of required pieces. The final result will be communicated by email following this evaluation, along with a document outlining the educational program. However, the academic board may require a live audition (in person or online) as well as an interview to complete the assessment. Accepted candidates must then proceed with their enrollment at the ENMP administration office without delay.
New students may be subject to reassessment, either upward or downward, by the professors at the start of the academic year.
