Children and Teen Classes

Classes for Children Aged 6 to 12
Disciplines: Piano and Violin
Admission Requirements:
- Classes for children are open from age 6 for all levels, including beginners.
Program Content:
- Instrument: 30-minute individual lesson within a 1-hour shared class (2 students).
- Music Theory: 1-hour lesson, regardless of level.
Progression:
- Instrument classes for children are divided into 7 levels: Degrees 1A, 1B, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B, and 4.
- Music theory classes consist of 4 levels: Degrees 1 to 4.
Students who have successfully completed Degree 4 in music theory may choose to discontinue theory studies if they wish.

Classes for Teenagers Aged 12 to 17
Disciplines: Piano, Violin, Cello, Flute, Voice
Admission Requirements:
- The classes for teenagers are open to students who have completed Degree 4 in the children’s classes at ENMP or, for new students, upon submission of a file and audition. This program is intended for teenagers wishing to prepare for the higher cycles of music schools.
Admission is based on the following documents:
- Full civil status
- Complete contact details of parents
- Photocopy of identity card (or passport)
- Summary of musical background
- School situation
- Motivation letter from the candidate
- Letter of recommendation from an ENMP teacher (only for the “Vocations” scholarship)
- A video recording with two selected pieces
Program Content:
- 2 lessons of 45 minutes per week for instrumentalists, 2 lessons of 30 minutes for singers
- 1 hour of music theory per week in small groups of 1.5 hours
- 1 chamber music lesson of 30 minutes
- 1 history of music lesson of 1.5 hours
Enrollment in the teenager program does not include enrollment in middle or high school, nor access to CHAM.
The lessons are organized to be compatible with middle/high school schedules.
Progression:
- The teenager program consists of 3 levels: Divisions 1 to 3, with each division lasting 2 years.
- Depending on exam results, students may skip divisions.
- Students who complete Division 3 of the program can access the first higher cycle of ENMP without an entrance exam.
- Students who reach adulthood before completing Division 6 must continue their studies in the Preparatory program.

“Vocation” Scholarship
Potential direct access to the Master’s Diploma exam at the end of the program.
Students showing exceptional potential and achieving excellent results in evaluations may be awarded a special scholarship covering tuition fees (excluding the annual registration fee) and benefit from special conditions, including:
- 30 extra minutes of lessons per week (2 x 1 hour for instrumentalists, 2 x 45 minutes for singers)
- 1 hour of individual theory lessons
Direct access to the first year of the second higher cycle at the end of the program
