Film Scoring

Under the direction of composer Beatrice Thiriet, the school’s film music composition class allows students with diverse profiles to adapt their composition practice to the image.

Each level has its own set of complementary teaching units, either mandatory or optional, depending on the course of study chosen.

Graduate Cycle | Mastère Diploma

(2^e Cycle Supérieur)

• Film scoring lessons
• Solfege (1 to 3 years)
• Music history and repertoire (1 to 3 years)
• Harmonic analysis (1 to 3 years)
• Analysis of forms and styles
• MAO workshop (1 to 3 years)
• Ensembles conducting (1 to 3 years)

Access to the conducting class as an auditor

Admission is based on a portfolio and an evaluation interview.

Advanced Class

The perfectionnement is a study cycle in a professionalization class lasting from 1 to 3 years.

It is accessible to students who have completed the 3rd cycle of the institution (artist diploma) or, for new students, by audition and presentation of a CV.

Administrative fees for foreign students (from outside the European Union and the Council of Europe): 600€.
