Winds department

The wind and brass department at the School offers a comprehensive music education, allowing students to refine their skills in learning the flute, oboe, clarinet, and saxophone. With instruction provided by prestigious professors, students benefit from high-level pedagogy, enabling them to develop impeccable instrumental technique while deepening their musical approach. The School stands out for its ability to offer programs tailored to each instrument and level, catering to the specific needs of each student, whether they are beginners or accomplished musicians.

The programs offered cover a wide range of repertoires, from classical to contemporary music, and include ensemble practices. Students of flute, clarinet, oboe, and saxophone, as well as trumpet and trombone students, benefit from a balanced approach between solo and group work. The training includes instrumental technique courses as well as modules in interpretation, chamber music, and orchestra, allowing students to acquire essential skills for their future musical careers.

Students can also specialize in specific instruments such as piccolo flute, piccolo clarinet, or bass clarinet, available in specialized workshops. These workshops provide an immersive experience in interpreting particular repertoires, complementing their core training.

At each level, supplementary teaching units are offered, some mandatory and others optional, depending on the chosen program. This flexible structure allows students to personalize their path while maintaining high standards. Study equivalencies can also be granted, offering students the opportunity to recognize their previous experiences and adapt to their specific needs. Thanks to this diversity of programs, the wind and brass department prepares its students for brilliant artistic careers, whether as soloists, members of orchestras, or in ensemble music.
