« Great amateurs » Program

A class for advanced amateur musicians is available for skilled musicians who do not wish to pursue a professional music career.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

The “advanced amateurs” class is open to anyone who can demonstrate a minimum level equivalent to admission into the first higher education cycle at ENMP.

This is an annual program, which may be renewed with the approval of the professor and the academic administration.

Admission is based on an entrance audition, an interview, the submission of a musical CV, and a motivation letter.

PROGRAM CONTENT

• 1 hour of individual instrumental lessons
• Access to group classes (music theory, history, and analysis) is permitted but not mandatory.
• The program does not include chamber music, sight-reading, or an accompanist.

PROGRAM EVALUATION

This program does not include any formal evaluation. However, progress may be monitored by the administration at any time.
