Advanced classes
Admission Requirements:
The Perfectionnement class (Advanced Third Cycle) is open to students who have completed the second cycle of higher education at ENMP, obtained the Artist Diploma from ENMP, or, for new students, passed an entrance audition and submitted a curriculum vitae.
The duration of studies is a maximum of three years. Each academic year leads to the awarding of a Perfectionnement Certificate (1st, 2nd, or 3rd year), granted upon the favorable recommendation of the academic supervisor, based on attendance and the quality of work assessed through continuous evaluation by the professor. The Perfectionnement class does not grant direct access to Artist Diploma preparation but may serve as preparation for the entrance competition.
The student’s work may be assessed at any time during the academic year by the administration, and students cannot refuse these evaluation auditions.
Re-enrollment is subject to approval by the administration and will only be granted if the student’s work and attendance meet the professor’s standards for this level. To this end, a 30-minute audition may be required by the administration.
The Perfectionnement class can be specialized in a specific field (e.g., Spanish vocal music, Bel Canto, French music, contemporary music, early music, etc.). The certificate obtained will then indicate the chosen specialty and the name of the supervising professor.
Note: After completing the final Artist Diploma exams in May, students may continue their lessons until the end of June by enrolling in the Perfectionnement class for the remaining weeks. However, in this case, no Perfectionnement Certificate will be awarded.
Course Content:
Perfectionnement students have access to the same subjects offered in the Artist Diploma program, subject to availability.
