Admission requirements:

Le cycle préparatoire est à destination des adultes possédant une expérience et des notions musicales confirmées et souhaitant se préparer à l’entrée en cycle supérieur. Un niveau minimum équivalent à un Diplôme d’Etudes Musicales (DEM) est requis pour être admis dans ce cycle. 

Le cycle Préparatoire est divisé en 2 niveaux d’une durée de 2 ans chacun. Le cycle Préparatoire est sanctionné par un certificat en fin de 2^ème année de Préparatoire 2. 

Eligibility is based on an application file including:

• CV
• Copy of previously obtained diplomas
• Motivation letter (in French or English)
• A video recording including three excerpts from works of different periods and styles, with no edits or effects, hands and face visible
• A French language certificate at CEFR A2 level (to be provided no later than the end of the first year of studies)

Applications must be submitted between February 15 and July 20, 2025, for enrollment in the 2025-2026 academic year. A live audition may be requested by the academic director, along with an interview to complete the evaluation.

The result will be communicated via email, along with the educational program outline. Accepted candidates must then proceed with their pre-registration at the ENMP secretariat.

Exams and Assessments:

The exam and assessment schedule for each discipline is published annually and available from the academic office. It includes required works and selected pieces from different periods and representative styles.
