How to join ENMP?

Do you want to study at the École Normale de Musique de Paris?
Admission is based on an application file and a video recording.
Registration has been open since February 28, 2025. You can apply from this date. There will be two admission sessions: 1st session from February 28 to May 31, 2025, 2nd session from June 1 to July 20.
For students already enrolled at the School in 2024-2025, re-registration is open. Even if you haven’t yet taken your exams, you can pre-register for next year via this link: https://www.ecolenormalecortot.com/candidater/demande-de-pre-inscription/

1 – Compilation of the application file
Required documents for online registration:
- A photocopy of your passport or ID (mandatory)
- One ID photo (mandatory)
- A musical curriculum vitae in French or English (mandatory)
- Copies of musical diplomas obtained
- A motivation letter in French or English
- A letter of recommendation
- A video recording including three excerpts from works of different periods and styles, without editing or effects, with hands and face visible (to be submitted via YouTube or WeTransfer link) (mandatory)
- A French language certificate – A2 level according to the CECRL (to be provided no later than the end of the first year of studies)
Admission Fees:
The admission fee is €600 and must be paid by bank transfer. Applications will not be processed without payment. This fee is refundable only in case of non-admission, within a maximum of six months. Please note that this does not constitute final enrollment.
A live audition and an interview may be required by the academic board for further assessment.
The final admission decision will be communicated via email along with the curriculum details and an admission certificate. This certificate will allow non-EU students to apply for a visa at the French Consulate in their home country.
Accepted candidates must then complete their administrative registration at the ENMP office.

APPLY2 – Administrative Registration
Registration is mandatory before attending classes.
The registration office is open Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM.

Required documents for finalizing admission:
- Proof of payment of the CVEC tax (Contribution Vie Étudiante et de Campus)
- Curriculum document specifying the level and the name of the main discipline professor
- ID card (for EU students) or passport with a valid student visa or residence permit (for non-EU students)
- Two ID photos
- Payment of registration and tuition fees (by check, cash, credit card, or bank transfer)
At the end of the administrative registration, you will receive your student card and certificate of enrollment.
